These oven-baked sweet potato fries are a healthier alternative to regular deep-fried or baked French fries. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They are just as tasty but much healthier to make at home to serve along with your juicy burger or as a side to your meal. They are also naturally Whole30, Paleo, and gluten-free. And the dipping sauce – it’s the perfect addition to your plate.
How To Make Baked Sweet Potato Fries
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut the sweet potatoes into 1/4-inch long slices and then into 1/4-inch wide strips. Place them in a large bowl and toss them with about 1/4 cup olive oil to coat. Sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, rosemary, salt, and pepper, and toss to coat.
- Arrange the fries in a single layer in both baking sheets and don’t overcrowd.
- Bake in a preheated 400 F oven for 30 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Let the fries rest for about 10 minutes before serving them. This will help them crisp up a little bit more.
